Bead Box

Hello, dear readers. In this article, we will tell you about what kind of crafts can be done if you collect enough boxes of matches, have suitable plastic and cardboard sheets at hand, and if you have a few damaged laser discs at home. From all this, for example, such a box for beads can turn out:
 Bead Box
To work with it we needed such materials and tools: - Three plastic or cardboard sheets; - Self-adhesive film (like PVC film) in blue; - Scissors, nippers; - Empty boxes from matches (from 24 to 48 pcs.) - Polymer glue and white glue glue; - Four CDs with a gray and green surface; - Plastic sheet from mirrors - Transparent plastic sheet - One DVD disc with a surface of purple. Preparing to work, we collected 24 empty boxes of matches (in two rows of 12 pieces): Next, we take one plastic sheet and one cardboard sheet, and on the square of the square, made up of 12 matchboxes tightly assembled in a row, draw and cut out such figures:

Each of the figures width of the sides should be equal to the width of the sides of matchboxes. We are going to make two rows of these boxes (upper and lower). The width of one matchbox is 1.1 cm and two is 2.2 cm together. Consequently, we must make the sides of all figures 2.2-2.3 cm wide (it is allowed to make 1 mm wide more), and after that we have to glue the sides with the top and bottom in this way (according to the type of the match box):

After gluing we must give the glue to dry. We should have two such boxes:

With large coils of copper, you can often stick to loose areas. It will be better to glue in this case either polymer or instant glue:

Then we take a sheet with a mirror-like surface of a silver shade and cut a square out of it :

One of the plastic boxes we had was not the size of a handicraft and had to be replaced with another, larger one. We need to make it so that one of the boxes can well fit the other smaller boxes. Without this, you can not close and open the finished casket. When we made the second box bigger, we did it:

We should glue the cut square with the mirror surface to the back (back) side of the resulting box. And after that we need to open this “box” and put 12 of 24 empty boxes of matches inside it, and glue the remaining 12 to another cardboard or plastic sheet, then place them on top of this row: Bead Box
After waiting for the glue to dry, sheet with cells from the boxes can be put in the box over the bottom layer:

Next to the plastic top of the box we have to glue a square-cut cardboard and draw on it the inscription "biser" with a pencil. If you wish, you can add several other drawings or images:

Now we take nippers and five CDs, which we need to cut into particles of arbitrary (different) size:

We need to paste over the cardboard surface of the jewelry box lid. This part of the work is not entirely simple: many of the CDs have the ability to crumble after cutting into its component parts, from which they have to be glued together. The laser discs are too hard for the scissors, and the scissors may become dull, so it will be better to use the clippers. According to the image made on the cardboard, you need to make an appropriate pattern of particles from CDs. br>
