Homemade hot dog buns

Homemade hot dog bunsis a recipe.


  1. 1.25 cups of milk;
  2. 4 cups of flour;
  3. 1 egg
  4. 6 tbsp. butter, softened and cut into pieces;
  5. 3 tbsp. sugar;
  6. 1 tbsp. potato starch;
  7. 2 tsp. sol;
  8. 2 tsp. instant yeast;
  9. 1/2 cup serum.


Mix all ingredients (except whey) and knead the dough thoroughly for about 15 minutes, until it stops sticking to your hands and surfaces. Cover with a towel and put in a warm place for 1-2 hours until the dough doubles.

Divide the dough into 3 parts, then divide each part into 5 longitudinal rolls. Make a depression in each bun in the middle.

Fold and put on a greased baking sheet seam down. Place the buns at a distance from each other and let them stand in a warm place for 30 minutes. Then smear with whey and bake in the oven at 1900C for 18-25 minutes.
