Symbol of man’s connection with nature from Nazar Bilyk
The Ukrainian artistNazar Bilykcreated the6-meter“Rain” sculpture, as a symbol of man’s connection with nature, a dialogue between the human race and the world around us. The bronze sculpture consists of a gloomy man who looks up and a giant glass raindrop located on his face. This clear glass ball is as balanced as if there is communication between a drop and a lonely figure.
“A drop of rain is a symbol of dialogue that connects a person with a whole variety of life forms,” says Nazar. "The figure has a loose and porous structure. In this paper, I want to compare humans with insects, taking into account that humans are part of nature. In addition, this work addresses the issue of interaction and difficulties in the coexistence of man with the environment. "
