Origami Cockerel Mosaic

I decided to master a new technique called origami mosaic. It is based on the compilation of paintings from colored squares, folded according to the principle of origami modules. Since this is my first job, I had to start with the simplest of squares. But the theme of the New Year. The result is a symbol of the year - a bright young cock. The main thing in this technique is to make more paper blanks and draw a clear scheme. For work you will need: - scheme of work; - set of colored two-sided paper (several pieces of one color); - white sheets ; - a sheet of thick white cardboard; - a pencil and a long ruler; - scissors; - a tube with PVA glue. First you need to select a circuit and calculate the number of modules. Then cut the squares of different colors. To do this, take sheets of paper and draw them into 3 cm x 3 cm cells.

The module is ready. In the same way we form multi-colored squares. It will take a lot of time. I, for example, spent the whole three evenings on the manufacture of all the necessary parts.

I started from the center. You can start moving from above or below, to the right or to the left. That is, as convenient. It was convenient for me to make the longest central row. Glue the beak, this will be the first point of reference.

Unusually and fascinating. Despite the fact that it took a lot of time to manufacture parts, I am happy with the result. Now I have an original postcard - a cheerful Cockerel, which I will present to my colleague on the eve of the New Year holidays.
