Soms (samosa)

Soames (Samosa)is a recipe.


  1. puff pastry 1 pack;
  2. lamb 660 gr;
  3. onion 2 pcs;
  4. salt 2 tsp.;
  5. cumin 1.5 tsp.;
  6. black pepper 1 tsp.
  7. egg 1 pc (mix with 2 tablespoons liter of water);
  8. sesame seeds 1 pc;
  9. 1 pc oil


Using a sharp knife, cut the lamb as small as possible. Finely chop the onion and add to the meat. Add salt, black pepper. Mix well with your hands. Put the stuffing in the fridge.

Sheets of puff pastry cut into small cakes. Roll out all the pieces of dough into cakes. We fill them with meat stuffing.

Preheat oven to 2200C.

Collapse into triangles. Mix 1 egg and 2 tbsp. l. water. Lubricate Soames egg mixture and sprinkle with sesame.

Lubricate the pan with butter, lay out the patties. We bake until golden brown: 20 minutes at 2150C, then reduce to 1750C and bake another 15-20 minutes extra.
