Georgia couple gets married at the grocery store
This Couple Got Married In a Grocery Store On Thanksgiving
A grocery store might not seem like a super romantic place to get married...but — surprise! — it can be magical.
Take this couple — Mary and Charles Larry Tinson — for instance. According to WALB, Charles Larry returned from a tour in Afghanistan in 2012, and ran into his now wife while running a last-minute errand to pick up cranberry sauce for his Thanksgiving dinner. Soon after the couple — who had met a few times before this chance encounter — began dating, and four years later, they decided to get married on Thanksgiving Day in that same fateful location: aisle three of Harvey's Supermarket in Albany, Georgia.
The decision was pretty simple. "She asked me where are we going to get married and I said at Harvey's where I met you," Charles Larry told WALB-TV.
Don't let the location fool you — the couple still had over 70 guests and the bride walked down the grocery store aisle...which was decorated with a red carpet.
Sticking to the theme of how they met, everything involved a touch of cranberry.
