Thanks a ton for your amazing contributions to wikiHow. I would just like to say that generally we don't take off the "" tag and change the methods name to something like "Method 1 of 3: Example Here".
I just wanted to point this out but keep up the good work!

Hi Dr. Carrie. I was wondering, you have so much knowledge and you love to add lots of information to articles, but you only have 2 articles. Why don't you make more articles? Just curious.:)
At 05:01, Nov 29, 2014
Hi Dr. Carrie! What an expansively thorough improvement you made to Prevent Dry Mouth. Big thumbs up! You went above and beyond. I'll go ahead and nominate the article for featuring thanks to your help. Cheers! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

Just stopping by to let you know that we usually revert edits like the one you made to Become a Shoe Designer. You might not be familiar with wikiHow's policies yet, and that's alright. Everyone on this site learns as they go along, myself included. Your willingness to edit is still very much appreciated. Let me know if you need help with anything.

I am sorry for leaving the message for you above - I didn't see how big the edit you made was, and therefore thought for a second you'd reverted the whole thing :S
Once again, I'm sorry for my mistake, and hope you'll forgive me.

Thanks for your edits on Get over Your Fear of Snakes.
It seems strange that both yourself and Seymour edits seem to disregard the standard format of articles (anna says it is because you copy paste from Microsoft Word, or similar), but it would be at least helpful to keep the normal order, that is, Related Articles, then Sources and Citations, then interwiki links, and finally, either thepartsormethodscode. Here, for whatever reason suits you, you actually added both Methods and Parts to the page, which pretty much means nothing at all to me. Is it terribly difficult to proof an edit, so patrollers don't have to deal with carelessness? I doubt it, and thanks for not replying.

No problem. You may want to have someone check all of the recent Seymour edits, as I noticed a few of those were also wrong, and I suspect many were patrolled in with the incorrect placement.

Hi Carrie! Thank you for all your work around the site. What do you think of the editing here?

Hi Dr Carrie, Please, follow the wikiHow ideal of usingaction verbs-- not invisible, unexplainable, internal thought processes, whenever possible...
I'm talking about a step verb like "Admit" or "Tell" are actions for teaching. "Know" is hidden in ones head, not an action for others to see or comprehend -- likewise "Explain" is active, but "Understand" or "Realize" are not. Did I make my gist clear? That article is for a person to "Amaze" others. But then, it goes into admitting and explaining the realities of the idea. -- Gar

Actually parts make more sense as we are going to each new part. Methods are used for a new plan or idea.

I undid the work of Seymour Edits on my article Understand the Male Ego because he deleted every single thing I wrote and put in a bunch of unhelpful social identity theory. I recommended to him that if people want to Understand the Social Construction of Gender, he can put his ideas there.

Hi Dr. Carrie!
I hope your week is going well? I came across this article by one of the Seymour Edit fellows, and I felt that it might need a little touchup editing. For example, there are steps that direct the reader to a form or list, but no link to a form or list is added (for example, Step 1 under "Part 2 of 2: Preparing for the Interview" directs the reader to a form, but no link to a form is found). Would you be able to pass on this feedback?

Cool - thanks for the quick response! :)

Hello Dr. Carrie,
I would like to thank you for taking the time and working on the article about Multiple Sclerosis. It lacked the experts touch and editing :)
At 20:13, Sep 23, 2015
I see you and "Seymour" worked on "Recognize Autism in Children" this summer. Was the list of potential sources I posted on the Talk page a few years ago of any help?

Makes sense, and thanks for changing that back!

Seymour Edits (SE) did many superficial edits . The rewrite did show a lot of research but had many generalizations. So it lacked meatiness, with many boney words. SE leaned on too many ambiguous words. It needed more explanatory phrases.
Avoiding generalities would cure many of the glaring problems... Some specifics of what was/were:
- "the unexpected???" -- (like what?),
- "things, things, things,???" -- (referred to repeatedly),
I could list many more such trivial words...
But, thanks for the start toward a worthwhile rewrite, but SE needed to use some more:
- meaningful words
- meat on the bones,...

Thanks for contributing two valuable articles, Dr Carrie. I removed introductory or transitional wording and redundancies from-- moved a tip to steps / moved a crucial step to top.

(quoted from Seymour Edits' talk, now deleted) Question for whoever's in charge of rewrites...
Should the FA tag really be left on when performing a complete rewrite of an article? If you rewrite the article completely, whatever was considered "featured article quality" is now gone. That article is no longer a former featured article... [but] a previous revision of it was... something to think about. I think the tag should be removed from the current revision until that revision (if it is indeed a complete rewrite) garners that distinction [FA].

Please watch your edits and be careful how you word them because I have passed them but am not sure it they are to complicated for the public to use. hank you for your partipation on wikihow.

Hey Carrie! Please tell your editors that I loved their edits on Handle a Fair Weather Friendship. The article is much more informative and detailed thanks to whoever edited it! It is comprehensive and very well teaches anyone what to do if they are in that situation. How lovely, I'd really appreciate it if you passed on my kudos to them :)
How have you been, by the way? Hope all is going well in your life--and of course, your wiki life!

I tried to use quick note to convey this to you but it's a little glitchy today and things aren't working when I click on them thank you. How did you guys end up becoming a team editing?

Hi Carrie :) I just wanted to give a quick heads-up that when you made your edit here, you accidentally removed some image syntax but not all of it, so it got marked as a broken file. I'm going to remove the image syntax since it seems like you were aiming to remove it in the first place, but if that's not what you were intending, feel free to put the image back! Thanks for the great edit :)

I look forward to the newer revision with specific information about studying for chemistry. I also look forward to this intro receiving more attention: Draw a Girl's Face - way to use gender stereotypes and false equivalency. Not really amused by it. I'm sure there's a reason behind it, but I'm not a fan, and if you're counting the number of people pissed off by this nonsense, add one to the list.
At 15:23, Oct 27, 2019
Hey, Carrie, I saw you were struggling a bit to redirect articles to the right title. I'm sure you know this and it's really no big deal that you publish them instead, but if you hit Preview, it'll show a redlink if the target article doesn't exist, so you don't have to publish about eight billion times before getting it right :P
At 15:29, Oct 27, 2019
Don't you know that you're not supposed to talk to Anna while trying to publish things? She has magical powers that distract people from completing the task properly. :P

Hi, Carrie! I saw you edited the introduction of Support Planned Parenthood, and I actually wanted to reach out about that... It seems to say that only women are scared to go into Planned Parenthood. I'm certain that trans men go to Planned Parenthood, too, so I'm a bit uncomfortable with it just being sliced down to women. Trans people use birth control, too, so... Yeah I'm not totally sure what my message is trying to accomplish here, hah. I guess... Trans-inclusionary, maybe? Sorry, not totally sure how to get this across!
At 23:06, Nov 15, 2019
Looks good! Thanks for hearing me out, Carrie. I really appreciate it. :)
At 22:45, Nov 29, 2019
Hiya Carrie - I saw you've been taking care of redirects lately. Thanks for that! We don't need duplicate content here, hah. There is one minor issue, though; when redirecting articles, it's generally a good idea to check and make sure there are no pages that link to the new redirect rather than the article. I don't recall seeing you do that? Please correct me if I'm wrong!
I know you guys over at the wikiHaus are really busy and I understand that you might not have time to do that, so if you'd like, I'd be happy to clean up the links and double redirects when you redirect something. Would you like me to do that for you?
At 23:39, Nov 29, 2019
I was just a bit concerned since to my knowledge, there's no page for cleaning up links that are redirects in, say, the related wikiHows. Just double redirects. But yeah, I do enjoy cleaning up those links - hence why I offered :) I just figured you weren't doing it since you were busy. Anna always says that you're busy terrifying the Seymours into doing things right, and I can imagine that takes out a large part of the workday :P
