Vase (flower pot) of felt
A vase (flower pot) made of feltis an unusual and interesting multi-layered flower vase made of felt.
Materials and tools:
- glue (for example, carpentry);
- foam brush;
- 2 plywood;
- container (container) for flowers.
First, we will draw a general sketch and each layer of the vase separately, the size you want. The sketch is needed to properly cut the indentations in the layers, and we also number each layer in order not to be confused.
Transfer the sketch with chalk to felt and cut out all the layers that make up the vase, and cut the grooves in the desired layers.
Putting the layers together in a vase. Note the chalk layers, i.e. note on a larger layer a smaller layer. Also note the bottom (bottom) of the vase. All this is done, so that later it would be more convenient to collect and not stain the outer part with glue.
Using wood glue, glue the layers of felt into a vase. To do this, apply the glue on the felt and gently and evenly spread the glue with a foam brush, not going beyond the marked chalk lines (see figure). Repeating these steps, we glue all the layers of felt together.
To make it more convenient not to glue all layers into the vase at once, but make two halves of the vase (see fig), which then glue together. Also always let the glue dry completely.
We glue the two parts of the vase, fix it with the help of 2 plywood and clamps. Wait until the glue dries.
After the glue dries, we remove the clamps, erase the chalk remaining on the vase. Inside the hole put the container or container.Vase or flower pot from feltis ready.
